This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the nomination for the Democratic Party to contest the PA-07 congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. The Democratic primary will take place on May 19, 2026. If no nominee is announced by November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Democrat sources, including https://democrats.org/. Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.Bob Brooks commands 69.5% trader consensus as the PA-07 Democratic primary frontrunner, propelled by his firefighter-union leader background and recent endorsements from the Pennsylvania Working Families Party (March 3), National Nurses United (March 13), and DemsWork4USA (March 21), resonating with Lehigh Valley's blue-collar voters in this swing district. Ryan Crosswell trails at 14.5% on superior fundraising cash-on-hand and Marine-federal prosecutor credentials, though a March 17 FEC complaint alleging "redboxing" coordination with super PACs introduces minor uncertainty. Lamont McClure's 9% reflects prior Northampton County executive name recognition amid the crowded field. Ballot access filings earlier this month locked in major candidates ahead of the May 19 closed primary, with forums highlighting contrasts but no decisive polls yet.
