The U.S. Army has abruptly canceled a major training exercise for the Headquarters Element of 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, fueling speculation within the Defense Department that soldiers specializing in ground combat and a range of other missions may be sent to the Middle East to join the war against Iran, sources tell the Washington Post. The 82nd Airborne operates a Brigade Combat Team, consisting of several thousand soldiers, which alongside elements of the U.S. Air Force are kept on high alert allowing them to undertake an airborne deployment on 18 hours notice with no prior warning, for missions as varied as seizing airfields and other critical infrastructure to evacuations, known more commonly as the Immediate Response Force (IRF).

Significant number of US Special forces are already on the Iraq border working with Kurds for preparations to go over. This isn't hard info to find out. Not saying the US forces will go in with them, but they are certainly a short distance away. The problem with these markets is getting evidence in time rather than it happening. Mojtaba lived a good life and he will be missed. Sure, yeah I will admit he was an impotent, corrupt, dumb tyrant who tortured his own people. He was not without faults. But the real Mojtaba was a down to earth chap who was in a dynasty football team with me the past few years. He loved a few beers and his Chicago Bears. We will have to find someone to takeover his team. RIP buddy.
