Former President Rumen Radev's Progressive Bulgaria alliance leads recent polls, including Gallup International at 28% and Alpha Research at 31%, ahead of Bulgaria's April 19 snap parliamentary elections—the eighth since 2021—driving trader consensus at 70% implied probability for him as next prime minister after his unprecedented resignation to lead the anti-establishment ticket amid prior government collapse from mass protests. Assen Vassilev's We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria coalition, polling around 11%, holds 20% odds as a potential coalition partner in likely fragmented parliament negotiations. Caretaker PM Andrey Gyurov, appointed in February, lingers at 8.5% amid vows for clean polls, with no major shifts in the past week despite ongoing campaigning.
