**Incumbent Republican Pat Harrigan holds a commanding position in North Carolina’s 10th congressional district, reflected in the market’s 91.5% implied probability for the Republican nominee.** The district carries a Cook Partisan Voter Index of R+9, and all major forecasters rate it Solid or Safe Republican. Harrigan secured renomination with nearly 88% in the March primary, while Democrat Ashley Bell prevailed in a fragmented field. A March poll showed Harrigan leading 52-37, and his fundraising exceeds $1 million compared with Bell’s roughly $84,000. A strong Republican performance in the November general election aligns with the district’s voting history and the absence of major recent developments that would alter the balance. Late national shifts, unusually high Democratic turnout, or unforeseen candidate-specific events remain the primary variables that could narrow the margin.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
