Trader consensus overwhelmingly favors under 2.4 million TSA-screened passengers on March 24, 2024, at virtually 100% implied probability, driven by the official TSA release confirming 2,226,295 travelers—a notable dip from spring break peaks exceeding 2.8 million earlier that week. This Sunday decline aligns with historical post-holiday patterns and lighter weekend volumes amid stabilizing post-winter travel demand. Factors include moderating leisure bookings and no major events boosting throughput. Realistic challenges are minimal, requiring an unprecedented data revision by TSA, which rarely occurs; absent that, resolution appears locked.
