Trump's recent nomination of Sen. Markwayne Mullin for Small Business Administration administrator has fueled speculation on a potential Oklahoma Senate vacancy, with trader consensus favoring House Speaker Charles McCall at 34.6% and State Superintendent Ryan Walters at 28.3% for Gov. Kevin Stitt's interim appointment. The tight race reflects competing GOP factions: McCall's legislative clout and fundraising prowess versus Walters' Trump-aligned populist appeal, while AG Gentner Drummond and Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell trail amid their independent profiles. No Stitt endorsement yet keeps odds bunched; separation could come from gubernatorial signals, Mullin's Senate confirmation timeline starting January 2025, or factional endorsements before midterms.
