Sweden's September 13 parliamentary election features consistent polling showing the Social Democrats leading overall, with Sweden Democrats positioned ahead of the Moderate Party for second place in recent surveys from Novus, Ipsos, and others. The gap between SD and Moderates has narrowed amid a tightening race between the right-wing Tidö bloc and centre-left opposition, yet SD maintains a modest edge on vote share. Late-campaign focus on immigration, crime, security, and cost-of-living issues has sustained SD's support base, while Moderate gains remain limited despite bloc momentum that lifted the Liberals above the 4% threshold. Traders price the Sweden Democrats as the clear favorite for second amid these stable relative standings, with limited scope for reversal before election day.
