**Thailand's Constitutional Court accepted a petition on March 18 by a 6-3 vote to review whether barcodes and QR codes on ballots from the February 8 snap general election violated voter secrecy provisions.** This procedural step followed the Bhumjaithai Party's victory and parliament's convening amid a parallel constitutional referendum endorsing a new charter draft. Traders' 82% implied probability on "No" invalidation reflects the Election Commission's firm defense that the technology does not enable traceability, alongside scant evidence of irregularities compromising outcomes and the court's historical tendency in technical disputes to avoid nullifying entire elections. A related case against the commission was redirected to the Supreme Court's political division for a July 7 hearing, further signaling prolonged but limited scrutiny.
