Trader consensus on Polymarket prices Democrats at 52.5% to win Iowa's 1st Congressional District House seat, ahead of Republicans at 32%, reflecting incumbent GOP Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks' ongoing vulnerability from her 2024 victory margin of just 799 votes over Christina Bohannan and a December residency shift outside the district that has fueled criticism. A GOP primary challenge from Tyler Hegewald, launched late last year, risks splitting Republican resources ahead of the June 2 primaries, whose ballots were finalized March 17. Bohannan leads the Democratic primary field per early indicators, bolstering flip potential in this closely contested R+3 battleground amid national generic ballot trends favoring Democrats by 2 points.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
