Trader consensus on Polymarket favors Jaunā Vienotība (JV, New Unity), the incumbent center-right party leading the current coalition government with Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, at 35.5% implied probability of securing the most seats in Latvia's Saeima under proportional representation with a 5% threshold. This positioning reflects JV's governing experience and historical incumbency advantages amid a fragmented field, despite late-2025 polls (e.g., Gemius December) showing National Alliance (NA) and right-wing populist Latvia First (LPV) slightly ahead at 16.5% and 15.5% vote shares, with JV at 11.3%. No major polls have emerged in early 2026, but the March 26 Saeima approval of manual vote counting—prompted by President Rinkēvičs' concerns—ensures procedural integrity ahead of the October 3 election, potentially stabilizing sentiment toward establishment parties like JV, AS (United List), and PRO (Progressives). Coalition negotiations will likely determine government formation given projected multiparty outcomes.
