At Bitcoin 2024, Donald Trump said that if elected he would see that the federal government would not sell any of its bitcoin holdings, effectively creating a "strategic national bitcoin stockpile". For the purposes of this market, this suffices as Trump announcing a strategic bitcoin reserve. Thus, this market should resolve to "Yes".
This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump announces that he will create a US strategic reserve of Bitcoin if he is elected president by July 28, 2024, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source for this market will be official recordings or transcripts of any such speech, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
