Trader consensus favors 2.4M-2.6M passengers at 56.5% for April 6 TSA checkpoint throughput, reflecting recent daily averages of 2.4-2.7 million over the past week—peaking at 2.76 million on March 29 and dipping to 2.15 million on March 31—amid the spring break travel tail end projected at a record 171 million passengers for March-April. Year-over-year declines near 10%, TSA staffing shortages from a partial DHS shutdown with high callout rates up to 11.8%, and Easter Sunday (April 5) flight disruptions including 339 cancellations have constrained volumes below 2.8 million daily forecasts, positioning a post-holiday Monday rebound into the leading brackets while <2.4M holds 20.5% on persistent headwinds.
