This market will resolve to "Yes" if Meta Platforms, Inc. announces that it is reincorporating in the state of Texas by June 30, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."

An announcement will qualify regardless of if/when Meta actually reincorporates in Texas.

The primary resolution source for this market will be official stamens from META or Mark Zuckerberg however  a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This market will resolve based on the first decision rendered in the ongoing case Federal Trade Commission v. Meta Platforms, Inc., or announcement from Meta Platforms of a sale regardless of whether that decision is subsequently challenged or whether that sale actually takes place.

If the FTC announces they are dropping the ongoing antitrust case against Meta Platforms, Inc., or if the Federal Trade Commission v. Meta Platforms, Inc. case is settled without requiring divestiture, this market may immediately resolve to "No".

The merger will be considered completed once it has become legally effective and the two companies are now a single entity or they exist under a single entity as one corporate group, as evidenced by official company announcements and/or regulatory filings (e.g. the filing of an 8-K form to the SEC that announces the closure of the deal). Shareholder approval, receipt of regulatory approvals, regulatory filings which do not announce the closure of the deal, or other intermediate steps towards the closing of a deal will not alone be sufficient for a ‘Yes’ resolution.

If the merger agreement is officially terminated or the deal has been abandoned according to official company communications, this market will resolve to “No”.
