Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors the People's Party as the leading contender to secure the most seats in the Faroe Islands' Løgting election, reflecting its commanding position in recent polls from Hagstova Føroya and others, where it holds 35-40% support—more than double the Social Democratic Party's 18-20%. The Union Party trails at around 12-13%, with smaller parties like Republic, Progress, and Centre Party under 5% each. Key drivers include the People's Party's strong messaging on economic growth and fisheries amid voter dissatisfaction with the incumbent Social Democrats' handling of inflation and EU quota disputes. No major late-campaign shifts have emerged ahead of the April 29 vote, solidifying the frontrunner's edge.
