A qualifying ban must have gone into effect during the market window and may occur through any of the following:

CFTC Action: A final order, rule, or directive under Regulation 40.11 or other CFTC authority that results in the removal or suspension of sports event contracts, either nationally or within one or more states.

Court Order or Judgment: A temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction, permanent injunction, or final judgment issued by a U.S. federal or state court that has the effect of suspending or terminating user access to sports event contracts in one or more states or nationwide. This includes situations where a court denies an exchange’s claim of federal preemption and thereby allows a state to enforce its gambling laws against sports event contracts while adjudication is pending, leading to blocked access in that state.

State Enforcement Upheld by Courts: If a state action (such as a cease-and-desist order or regulatory enforcement) is challenged on preemption grounds and the court declines to enjoin the state, resulting in blocked access to sports event contracts in that state, this will qualify.

To resolve “Yes,” the block or ban must actually take effect (users lose access or ability to trade/maintain positions). Mere announcements, proposed rules, or pending litigation without effect do not qualify.

Voluntary pauses or withdrawals by a DCM or FCM, absent legal compulsion, do not qualify.

If a qualifying block takes effect and is implemented the market will still resolve “Yes” regardless if it is later stayed, reversed, or vacated. 

Actions ordered before the deadline but which take effect only after, will not qulaify.

Will Sentient launch a token in 2025?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if there is a military encounter between the military forces of North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) and South Korea (Republic of Korea) between January 29, and December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."

A "military encounter" is defined as any incident involving the use of force such as missile strikes, artillery fire, exchange of gunfire, or other forms of direct military engagement between North Korean and South Korean military forces. Non-violent actions, such as warning shots, artillery fire into uninhabited areas, the deployment of balloons, audio broadcasts, or missile launches that land in territorial waters or pass through airspace, will not qualify for a "Yes" resolution. Intentional ship ramming that results in significant damage to (e.g., a hole in the hull) or the sinking of a military ship by another will count toward a "Yes" resolution, however minor damage (scrapes, dents) will not.

Note: South Korea's Coast Guard Administration (CGA) is not part of the military.

The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.

North Korea x South Korea military clash by December 31?

Robinhood, through a joint venture with Susquehanna International Group, recently acquired a majority stake in MIAXdx, a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-licensed Designated Contract Market and Derivatives Clearing Organization, signaling Robinhood’s intent to deepen its involvement in prediction markets (see: https://robinhood.com/us/en/newsroom/robinhood-prediction-markets-joint-venture/).

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Robinhood makes at least one MIAXdx-cleared prediction market user-tradable on their U.S. platform in any U.S. state by March 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

“MIAXdx-cleared” means the prediction market contract is listed on the MIAXdx Designated Contract Market and subject to MIAXdx clearing. Prediction markets offered by Robinhood through KalshiEX, ForecastEX, or any other exchange will not count.

Announcements alone do not qualify; the product must be operational.

Any rebranding or renaming of MIAXdx will not affect the resolution of this market.

The primary source of resolution for this market will be information from the Robinhood U.S. trading platform and a consensus of credible reporting.

Robinhood launches prediction market through MIAXdx by March 31?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed person is no longer host of their respective show for any length of time between September 18, and December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

An announcement of this person's resignation or removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation or removal goes into effect.

If the owning network or its parent company announces the show that the listed person hosts is cancelled within timeframe, this market will immediately resolve to "Yes".

This market's primary resolution source will be official information from the listed person or the owning network of the show that they host, however, a consensus of credible reporting sources will also be used.
