This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the nomination for the Republican Party to contest the GA-11 congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. The Republican primary will take place on May 19, 2026. If no nominee is announced by November 3, 2026, 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Republican sources, including https://rnc.org/. Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market. In Georgia's 11th Congressional District Republican primary on May 19, trader consensus favors Rob Adkerson at 50% implied probability over Tricia Pridemore at 40.5%, reflecting a tight open-seat race following incumbent Barry Loudermilk's February retirement announcement. Recent candidate forums in Cherokee County on March 20 and Bartow County on March 24 featured top contenders including Adkerson, Pridemore, and others like John Cowan, but produced no decisive separation amid a fragmented eight-candidate field lacking major endorsements from figures like President Trump or Gov. Brian Kemp and no public polling. Dynamics remain fluid in this safe Republican district, with vote-splitting risks prompting potential runoff; separation could arise from high-profile endorsements, FEC fundraising disclosures, or standout debate performances before early voting begins in late April.
