This market will resolve to “Yes” if any US federal or state entity brings a federal suit against the US Department of the Treasury, or formally charges or otherwise announces a criminal indictment of a current or former Treasury employee or informant stemming from evidence of wrongdoing found by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) by April 30, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.
For cases where the US Department of the Treasury is sued, the lawsuit must actually be filed in federal court for this market to resolve to "Yes".
For the purposes of this market the District of Columbia and any county, municipality, or other subdivision of a state shall be included within the definition of a state.
