Trader consensus implies low confidence in Iran achieving multiple successful ship targets by April 30, with under 2 ships leading at 56.5% amid robust US-led coalition naval defenses intercepting most Houthi drone and missile barrages in the Red Sea. Recent US airstrikes on April 24—the largest yet—targeted over 60 Houthi sites in Yemen, degrading launch capabilities following Iran's indirect support via arms and advisors. Only one merchant vessel, the True Confidence, has been sunk since mid-March, with no confirmed hits in the past week despite Houthi claims tied to Gaza tensions. Diplomatic signals, including UN calls for de-escalation, further temper expectations for escalation, sidelining higher bins like 8–9 or 10+.
