Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Met Office observations from London stations, including central Greater London and Heathrow Airport, confirm the highest temperature on March 30, 2026, reached 12°C around 3-4 p.m. local time, with provisional data updated by late afternoon amid overcast skies and northwest winds limiting solar heating. This aligns with forecast model consensus from the UK Met Office, which predicted maxima in the 11-13°C range under a cool northerly airflow pattern typical for late March, cooler than mid-month peaks near 19-20°C. Trader consensus at 100% implied probability for 12°C reflects this skin-in-the-game alignment with authoritative measurements. Realistic challenges would require post hoc quality control revisions uncovering a higher unlogged peak, though such adjustments are rare for well-monitored urban sites; final daily extremes report expected soon.
