The China Meteorological Administration's latest outlook (issued March 29) projects 21°C under clearing skies and building high pressure, supported by late-March above-normal warmth under ENSO-neutral conditions reducing cold surges. However, ensemble model spreads from GFS and ECMWF highlight differentiating factors like lingering stratocumulus clouds potentially capping insolation, boundary-layer mixing, and light southerly winds—each capable of shifting the peak by 1–2°C from climatological early-April averages of 18°C. Updated model runs expected March 30 afternoon could sharpen resolution criteria at official stations.
