This market will resolve to "Yes" if Luigi Mangione smiles during his next court appearance after the creation of this market. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

Only smiles captured on photo or video will count toward the resolution of this market, and only smiles captured in the courtroom will qualify. Smiles captured during transportation to or from his next court appearance will not qualify. If Luigi Mangione does not appear in court by March 31, 2026, 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "No".

This market will resolve to "Yes" if a judge declares a mistrial in either of Luigi Mangione's ongoing federal or state cases by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

A mistrial only needs to be declared in one of Mangione's ongoing cases for this market to resolve to "Yes".

If all ongoing cases as of February 25, 2025 resolve without a mistrial being declared, this market will resolve to "No".

The resolution source will be information from the ruling courts in this case, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if 1 or more earthquakes with a magnitude of 10.0 or higher occur anywhere on Earth between December 8, 2025 12:00 PM ET, and December 31, 2026, 11:59PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

The resolution source for this market is the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Earthquake Hazards Program (https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/browse/significant.php#sigdef).

If an earthquake of substantial size has occurred within this market's timeframe but not yet appeared on the resolution source, this market may remain open until January 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or until the earthquake in question otherwise appears on the resolution source.
