Trader consensus on Polymarket prices Trump's proposed Gold Card visa sales in 2026 near evenly split between zero and 1-100 units, reflecting deep uncertainty over the program's launch amid transition uncertainties. The initiative, floated by Commerce Secretary nominee Howard Lutnick as a $5 million-per-card pathway for wealthy immigrants to replace EB-5 visas, lacks formal endorsement from President-elect Trump and faces hurdles like congressional approval, legal challenges, and demand questions in a hardline immigration context. This keeps low outcomes dominant, with separation possible from an official policy announcement, executive orders post-inauguration, or early sales data, though historical golden visa programs suggest slow initial uptake.
