Trader consensus assigns 99.2% implied probability to 5,000-5,500 US flight delays on March 30, reflecting live FlightAware data logging roughly 5,200 delays within, into, or out of the United States—a figure aligning with typical daily averages for domestic operations amid minor northeast winds noted in the FAA's morning air traffic report. Absent major weather events, ground stops, or TSA bottlenecks that plagued earlier March amid partial government shutdown pressures, on-time performance stabilized, with low cancellations around 200 per Polymarket-linked trackers. Official Bureau of Transportation Statistics tallies, defining delays as 15+ minute late arrivals, are pending finalization but preliminary reports match this range closely. Rare challenges could arise from post-day data revisions incorporating late-filing flights or methodological adjustments.
