The EU's institutional framework and treaty structures underpin the 98.6% trader consensus against dissolution before 2027, as no member state has activated Article 50 procedures or mounted coordinated exit campaigns in recent months. Political fragmentation and fiscal pressures persist across capitals, yet major parties have shifted toward internal reform rather than withdrawal, consistent with post-Brexit patterns where exit costs deterred further departures. Public sentiment surveys reflect widespread concern over economic and security challenges but show only marginal support for outright dissolution. Realistic scenarios that could still shift odds include simultaneous fiscal crises triggering multiple national referendums or abrupt geopolitical shocks forcing treaty renegotiations, though neither appears probable within the narrow remaining window.
