Banks bribed Democrats with millions, and now the Senate is blocking the Clarity Act, stalling its passage. Democrats don’t want millions of Americans getting up to 4% yields from stablecoins - that would strip banks of hundreds of billions a year in pure profit (up to $400B annually from the spread: 0.3–0.5% on deposits vs. ~4% on Treasuries). Congress - especially the Senate - serves the banks, not the people, violating the spirit and principles of U.S. antitrust laws like the Sherman Act (which prohibits restraints of trade and monopolization) and the Clayton Act (which bans practices that substantially lessen competition). By shielding the banks’ cartel-like monopoly over deposits and lobbying to ban stablecoin yields, they block fair competition, stifle fintech innovation, and keep power concentrated on Wall Street - a textbook antitrust violation.

Wrong, stablecoins are for payments not yield, it’s even in the Genius Act which is for stablecoins… stop the lies… and I’m pro crypto.. exchanges just mad that can’t do the gimmick… idle stablecoins…

Nope. Will never get enough democrat votes now that Donnie created the slush fund for Jan 6 rioters and admitted to insider trading. Dems will absolutely demand an ethics clause and insider trading ban on crypto. He'll never go along with it. He torpedoed the bill folks, that's why the odds plunged from 73% to 50% today. :(
