This market will resolve to "Yes" if Gavin Newsom, Governor of California, announces that he is running for president of the United States of America before 12:00 AM ET on the first day of the Democratic National Convention, currently scheduled for August 19, 2024. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."

For the purpose of resolving this market, an announcement by this candidate will be sufficient to trigger a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether they actually filed to run for president of the United States, or whether they actually file to run for president in the future.

If the DNC does not begin by August 31, 2024, 11:59 PM ET, and this candidate has not announced their intention to run, this market will resolve to "No".

The primary resolution source for this market will be official statements by this candidate (ex: via speech, social media, etc.) or their official representative(s), however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
