Trader consensus heavily favors the Republican Party at 88% implied probability to win Tennessee's 7th Congressional District House seat, driven by its strong R+14 partisan lean and Donald Trump's 60%-38% margin there in 2020. Incumbent Rep. Mark Green (R) is retiring after three terms, but GOP nominee Charlotte Bergmann, a Trump-endorsed real estate investor who prevailed in the August 1 primary with 35% amid a fragmented field, bolsters party hold. Democrat Thomas A. Fruits II, a military veteran, advances unopposed but trails in fundraising ($150K vs. Bergmann's $400K+). No recent polls show competitiveness; Cook Political Report rates it Likely Republican. Early voting starts October 14 ahead of the November 5 election, with national GOP momentum aiding incumbency-like advantages in this battleground-adjacent but solidly red district.
