Republican Roger Williams, the longtime incumbent, faces Democrat Dione Sims in the November 2026 general election for Texas's 25th congressional district after both secured their party nominations in the March primaries. Forecasters including the Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, and Sabato's Crystal Ball rate the seat solid or safe Republican, reflecting the district's consistent conservative lean in recent presidential and Senate voting. Williams's unopposed primary and established fundraising edge reinforce the trader consensus that the Republican nominee holds a substantial advantage heading into the fall campaign.
