Incumbent Republican Beth Van Duyne holds a commanding position in Texas' 24th Congressional District, a suburban Dallas-Fort Worth battleground with a Cook Partisan Voter Index of R+8, fueling trader consensus at 67% for the GOP in the November 3 general election. Van Duyne won unopposed in the March 3 Republican primary and her 2024 reelection by 21 points (60.3%-39.7%), bolstered by $2.8 million cash on hand versus Democrats' under $20,000. The Democratic nominee remains undecided pending the May 26 primary runoff between Kevin Burge and TJ Ware, whose low-turnout March primary signals weak field strength. Ratings from Cook Political Report (Solid Republican) and others underscore structural GOP advantages, though national midterm dynamics could influence turnout in this safe-leaning seat.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
