Trader consensus heavily favors the Republican Party at 90.5% for Florida's 18th Congressional District House seat, driven by incumbent Rep. Brian Mast's strong incumbency advantage in a district rated R+9 on the Cook Partisan Voting Index, reflecting consistent GOP dominance in recent cycles. Recent polling averages show Mast leading Democrat Rickey Patel by 25-30 points, supported by superior fundraising and endorsements from national Republicans, with no significant shifts in the past week amid steady early voting trends favoring the GOP baseline. While probabilities exceed 90%, potential challenges include a late scandal, health issues for Mast, or an unforeseen Democratic turnout surge in battleground Palm Beach County before the November 5 election.
