Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official surface observations from China Meteorological Administration (CMA) stations across Shanghai confirm the highest temperature reached exactly 21°C on March 28, locking in trader consensus at near-certainty for this outcome on Polymarket. This aligns with pre-day forecast model consensus from global sources like the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and local CMA guidance, which projected a daytime high of 21°C under partly cloudy skies with light southeasterly winds capping warming. March climatology typically sees Shanghai highs around 13–15°C, but recent mild air masses from the south pushed this above average. Realistic challenges, such as a late-afternoon measurement revision from an outlier station or data correction, remain improbable given finalized reporting protocols; traders await any final CMA bulletin for absolute closure.
