On July 18, The Hill reported that Democratic Party insiders expect President Biden to make a major announcement about his future soon (see: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4780762-biden-future-harris-running-mate/).

This market will resolve to "Yes" if President Joe Biden makes any major announcement regarding his future, such as his decision to resign the presidency or whether to run or not run for re-election, by 11:59 PM ET on July 19, 2024. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No”.

Only official statements from the White House or Biden himself will qualify for a “Yes” resolution. Unofficial statements from staff, will not qualify.
