Mercedes' overwhelming pace under the 2026 regulations has propelled teammates George Russell and Kimi Antonelli to dominate the drivers' championship standings after three Grands Prix, with Antonelli seizing the lead at 72 points following his second consecutive victory at the Japanese Grand Prix on March 29, ahead of Russell's 63 points from his Australian GP win. Trader consensus favors Russell at 43.5% implied probability due to his experience and consistency in the superior machinery, slightly ahead of rookie sensation Antonelli's 34.7% amid his breakout poles and podium sweeps. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc trails at third overall but lags in odds at 5.8%, reflecting Mercedes' early constructor dominance and rivals' adaptation struggles with new power units and aerodynamics.
