National Guard personnel will not qualify, even if federalized under Title 10. Military police serving on active duty in the U.S. military will qualify.

Deployed to Minnesota refers to the deployment, ordering, or authorization of U.S. troops to operationally execute a domestic mission in Minnesota. Pre-positioning, readying, or otherwise preparing troops for action in Minnesota, without deployment to execute a domestic mission, will not count.
