Recent congressional advocacy, including Sen. Ted Cruz's March 21 call for recognition and ongoing consideration of H.R. 3992—the Republic of Somaliland Independence Act—signals growing bipartisan interest, though the bill remains in committee. Traders reflect uncertainty with June 30 at around 20% implied probability, awaiting potential House Foreign Affairs votes or executive signals before mid-2026 resolution.
