Tatiana Auguste of the Liberal Party leads trader consensus at 58.5% in the Terrebonne federal by-election rematch against Bloc Québécois incumbent Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagné at 39%, reflecting her narrow 2025 victory annulled by the Supreme Court over a mail-in ballot postal code error. With advanced polls opening over Easter weekend ahead of the April 13 vote, Liberals have mobilized MPs for door-to-door campaigns emphasizing incumbency and local priorities like housing and high-speed rail routing, while the Bloc pushes to reclaim the seat amid a fragmented field of 48 candidates requiring write-in ballots due to Longest Ballot Committee independents. The outcome could tip Liberal Commons majority balance in this Quebec battleground riding.
