With Peru's April 12 general elections reinstating the Senate after three decades under a constitutional reform, trader consensus on Polymarket prices Juntos por el Perú (JP) at 33% to secure the most seats via proportional representation, closely trailed by Renovación Popular (RP) at 24% and Fuerza Popular (FP) at 20%. Recent Ipsos and Datum polls from late March, post-presidential debates, reflect a fragmented field where no party exceeds 13-15% amid over 40 contenders and high undecideds, sustaining the tight race despite RP's Rafael López Aliaga and FP's Keiko Fujimori leading presidential surveys. JP's central regional edge offsets right-wing coattails; final clashes, turnout in battlegrounds, or candidate scandals could widen gaps before first-round balloting.
