If no 2026 Nebraska Republican Senate Primary takes place, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the first announcement of the results from the Nebraska Republican party, however an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.Pete Ricketts holds a commanding 98.8% trader consensus in the Nebraska Republican U.S. Senate primary due to his incumbency as appointed senator since 2024, prior service as two-term governor, and overwhelming GOP establishment backing, including superior fundraising. The March 23 final candidate filing list revealed only low-profile challengers like Todd Knobel, Eric Mortimore, Debb Axtell Schultz, and Mac Stevens, with Edward Dunn withdrawn yet lingering at 1%; no primary polls or recent endorsements have emerged to contest this in the past 30 days. Absent a major scandal, health issue, or surprise voter mobilization for a longshot, Ricketts appears poised for nomination on May 12.
