This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the nomination for the Republican Party to contest the FL-19 congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. The Republican primary will take place on August 18, 2026. If no nominee is announced by November 3, 2026, 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Republican sources, including https://www.rnc.org/. Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.Trader consensus in the open Florida's 19th Congressional District Republican primary favors Catalina Lauf at 53.5%, propelled by her February endorsement from Rep. Anna Paulina Luna and robust Q1 fundraising of over $430,000, signaling strong conservative activist support despite lower cash on hand than self-funded rivals. Madison Cawthorn holds 15% on name recognition and a late February endorsement from dropout Johnny Fratto, while local businessman Jim Schwartzel sits at 14% backed by $1.45 million raised including a personal loan. Jim Oberweis trails at 8.6% despite leading FEC totals at $3.35 million mostly self-loaned. With no public polls since late 2025 showing high undecideds and the April 24 filing deadline approaching, the crowded field of mostly out-of-state challengers remains closely contested ahead of the August 18 primary.
