Trader consensus overwhelmingly backs under 2.6 million TSA-screened passengers at 98% implied probability, reflecting severe disruptions from a prolonged partial DHS shutdown that has triggered over 450 officer resignations and 40-50% call-out rates, crippling checkpoint capacity amid spring break demand. Recent volumes underscore this: March 24's 2.19 million low, March 25's 2.38 million, prior weekend's 2.50 million, and volatile Friday 2.72 million outlier, with staffing chaos deterring travelers and causing missed flights despite Airlines for America projecting highs. ICE reinforcements provide minor relief, but weekend patterns favor lighter traffic. Realistic upsets hinge on Trump's emergency paycheck move boosting attendance rapidly or pre-Easter surges overwhelming hurdles before Monday's data release.
