Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors BTS's "Arirang" first-week album sales landing under 3 million copies at 94.8% implied probability, primarily due to the group's extended military enlistment hiatus curtailing group promotions, fan events, and the signature ARMY mobilization that propelled past releases like "Map of the Soul: 7" past 4 million. Solitary member projects, such as RM's "Right Place Wrong Person," have topped out around 1-1.5 million domestically per Hanteo charts, underscoring diminished scale without full BTS synergy. Recent pre-order trackers show modest Hanteo and Circle Chart registrations below 1 million, aligning with K-pop's post-pandemic sales normalization. An upset to 3-4 million would require explosive last-minute global bundling or surprise full-group involvement, though enlistment timelines make this improbable before resolution.
