Entering Round 3 of the Texas Children's Houston Open at Memorial Park Golf Course, trader consensus tightly clusters around Davis Riley (41.1%), Brice Garnett (40.4%), Luke Clanton (40.0%), Matthieu Pavon (39.9%), and Emiliano Grillo (39.6%), reflecting their strong positioning within one or two strokes after low-scoring Round 2 efforts amid benign scoring conditions. These mid-tier contenders surged with hot putting and birdie barrages on the par-70 layout, offsetting favorites like Gary Woodland's lead while capitalizing on no major withdrawals or injury concerns. The bunched leaderboard—featuring Jeffrey Kang, Pontus Nyholm, Steven Fisk, and Beau Hossler nearby—underscores volatile weekend dynamics, where strokes gained approach play and back-nine momentum could decide the winner on Sunday.
