This market will resolve according to the male name ranked #1 in the U.S. Social Security Administration’s (SSA) official list of popular baby names for 2025, published on the SSA website: https://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/. The authoritative source is the SSA’s “Popular Names by Birth Year” tool. To view the relevant "Male name" list, set the Birth Year to 2025. This market may resolve as soon as the SSA releases its 2025 name data for the specified year. If none of the listed options is ranked #1 or if the SSA does not release the 2025 rankings by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other.”Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors Liam as the most popular boy name for 2025 per the Social Security Administration's forthcoming list, with an implied 86.9% probability reflecting its unbroken streak as the SSA's top boy name since 2017—including the official 2024 rankings released last May, where Liam edged Noah amid stable top-10 positioning for Theodore, James, Mateo, Henry, Lucas, William, Oliver, and Elijah. BabyCenter's November 2025 data, showing Noah reclaiming #1 among its user base for the third year, has fueled Noah's 8.1% share by signaling shifting cultural momentum toward biblical classics, though traders discount it against SSA's conservative U.S. birth registry trends. With the SSA report due in May, late-quarter birth filings could spark volatility, but Liam's enduring appeal in naming culture sustains frontrunner status.
