This market will resolve according to the winner of the Republican Primary for Governor of Oregon, scheduled to take place on May 19, 2026. Resolution will be based on the overall winner of the primary, including any potential second round or run-off. If no 2026 Oregon Gubernatorial Republican Primary takes place, this market will resolve to “Other.” The resolution source for this market will be the first official announcement of the results from the Oregon Republican Party; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.State Rep. Ed Diehl holds a slim edge over Christine Drazan in trader consensus for the May 19 Oregon Republican gubernatorial primary, reflecting momentum from a March Predict Oregon survey of Republicans where Diehl led with 66% among informed voters, fueled by his role leading the No Tax Oregon referendum that gathered 250,000 signatures against a 2025 transportation tax hike. Drazan, the 2022 nominee who narrowly lost the general election, maintains strong name recognition and leads early fundraising alongside Chris Dudley, the 2010 nominee, keeping the multicandidate field fragmented and probabilities tightly bunched. Consolidation via endorsements, additional debates, or ad blitzes before early voting could tip the balance in this closely contested race.
