Trader consensus overwhelmingly favors BTS's 'Arirang' first-week album sales falling under 3 million (95.7% implied probability), driven by the absence of any official announcement, preorder data, or promotional rollout from HYBE or the group amid their ongoing military hiatus until mid-2025. K-pop heavyweights like BTS typically smash 3-5 million first-week marks on Hanteo charts with fan-fueled preorders, but zero buzz on platforms like Weverse or Circle Chart previews signals this may be a low-key re-release, compilation, or even unconfirmed project with minimal ARMY mobilization. Recent X chatter echoes skepticism, citing no stock-up at distributors. An upset—say, a stealth comeback drop sparking 2-3 million day-one preorders—hinges on improbable surprise marketing, but historical precedents like solo subunit efforts rarely exceed 1.5 million without group synergy.
