This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in degrees Celsius on 3 Apr '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column on the specified date once information is finalized for all hours on that date, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=RCTP To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects high uncertainty for Taipei's highest temperature on April 3, with 33°C or higher leading at 38% implied probability amid a split between 26°C (28%) and cooler outcomes around 24-25°C, driven by conflicting short-range forecasts from Taiwan's Central Weather Administration (CWA). The CWA's latest March 30 update forecasts daytime highs of 19-25°C under cloudy skies with showers as a frontal system approaches northern Taiwan ahead of the Tomb-Sweeping holiday (April 3-6), capping intensity via increased cloud cover and moisture following recent cooling (e.g., 19°C high on March 26). However, lingering warmth from March highs near 29°C and potential high-pressure ridge persistence if the front weakens support hotter scenarios, consistent with April climatology where highs average 24°C but occasionally surpass 30°C due to subtropical steering patterns. New CWA and global model runs (ECMWF, GFS) expected daily could shift odds as resolution nears.
