Trader consensus on Polymarket assigns a 74.5% implied probability to Anthropic retaining the #1 AI model by April's end, driven by Claude Opus 4.6's dominant position atop the LMArena.ai Text Arena leaderboard (Style Control On), where it leads overall chat scores at 1,476 Elo and code benchmarks at 2,003 as of late March. Released February 5, 2026, the model excels in coding and planning capabilities, outpacing challengers like Google's Gemini 3.1 Pro (second in code at 1,859) and xAI's Grok 4.20, which trails in reasoning-focused evaluations. No major rival releases or leaderboard flips in the past week bolster this positioning, though traders eye potential April announcements from OpenAI or DeepSeek as swing factors amid AI's fast-evolving landscape.
