The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Trader consensus reflects a razor-thin pound-for-pound race for UFC's year-end top spot, with Islam Makhachev's dual lightweight and welterweight title reigns—bolstered by his dominant UFC 322 decision over Jack Della Maddalena—barely edging Ilia Topuria's lightweight strap won via knockout ascent and upcoming June unification against interim champ Justin Gaethje. Alex Pereira's recent first-round knockout and interim heavyweight title clash versus Ciryl Gane fuel his surge, while Della Maddalena's quick rebound headlining UFC Fight Night versus Carlos Prates signals resurgence potential. Post-UFC 327 rankings on April 14 cemented Makhachev at No. 1 but highlighted no clear dominator amid multi-division ambitions, failed super-fights like Topuria-Makhachev, and eight months of defenses, upsets, or cross-division moves ahead.
