Traders have priced Brice Garnett (49.3%), Brian Campbell (49.1%), Patton Kizzire (48.7%), Peter Malnati (48.4%), Jeffrey Kang (47.9%), and Matt McCarty (47.4%) in a razor-thin cluster atop the Texas Children's Houston Open market, mirroring their tied 54-hole lead at 11-under par on the demanding Memorial Park layout after round 3 play Sunday. This surprise bunching stems from round 3 surges—Garnett's hot putter, Campbell's ball-striking clinic, and Kizzire's steady scrambling—while pre-tournament favorites like Tony Finau (33.9%) and Sam Burns (34.5%) faded with bogey-heavy cards amid windy conditions. Final-round pairings keep pressure high, with no clear strokes-gained edges (all averaging +2.5 tee-to-green), home-course familiarity for some Texans, and potential Sunday pin placements favoring bold irons, sustaining the dead-heat trader consensus.
