Mercedes' George Russell and Kimi Antonelli lead Polymarket's F1 Drivers' Champion odds at 43.5% and 35.0% implied probabilities, reflecting their 1-2 positions in the early 2026 standings after three Grands Prix, fueled by the team's superior power unit and energy management under new regulations. Antonelli, the 19-year-old rookie, seized the championship lead with his second victory from pole at the Japanese Grand Prix—recovering from a shaky start to beat McLaren's Oscar Piastri—following his maiden China win and Australia runner-up. Russell's season-opening Australia triumph and consistent P4 in Japan underscore his experience edge, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc (5.8%, third at 49 points) and others trail amid adaptation struggles for Red Bull and McLaren.
