Mercedes teammates George Russell and Kimi Antonelli dominate trader consensus for the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship, reflecting their stranglehold on early-season podiums amid superior Mercedes pace under new regulations. Antonelli surged to the points lead with 72 after back-to-back victories in China and the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, where he claimed pole and outmaneuvered Russell despite a late safety car strategy call. Russell trails at 63 points with wins in Australia and the Chinese sprint, plus consistent P1/P2 finishes, bolstering his slight edge via experience against the 19-year-old rookie's rapid ascent. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc (49 points) lags distant third, underscoring Mercedes' early constructor dominance and the intra-team title tilt.
